Cardinal Greenways' National Trails Day 5K, Clean-Up, and Volunteer Picnic

Cost: 5K Competitive Run/Non Competitive Walk is $25.00 Come celebrate National Trails Day, June 4th. We have three events on one day! Cardinal Greenways' 5K Competitive Run and Non-competitive Walk, Clean-Up Day, and Volunteer Picnic are fun and family friendly! The 5K route runs along the beautiful Cardinal Greenway and the scencic White River Greenway.After the awards ceremony, stay around for our DJ who will be rocking the tunes, as we invite everyone to check out the trails and do a little clean up, if needed. Following the Clean-Up is our Volunteer Apprecialtion Picnic. Come volunteer! Picnic is free, but you MUST sign up. Cost: 5K - $20.00, All students ANY AGE $10.00, Children 5 years and under Free CG Fantastic 5K Competitive Run/Non-competitive Walk - The 5K route is on the beautiful Cardinal Greenway and the scenic White River Greenway. Medals awarded in age groups, male and female. $20.00. Students, ANY AGE only $10.00! Children 5 and Under Free. Register by May 19 to guarantee your 5K shirt. Race begins at 8:00 a.m.
Trail Clean Up - Annual volunteer clean up of Cardinal Greenway. Everyone's invited to make our great trail look even better! Clean Up begins at 9:00 a.m. Picnic follows clean up.
Volunteer Appreciation Picnic - Old, new, and Trail Clean Up volunteers are invited to a picnic at the beautiful Historic Wysor St. Depot at 11:00 a.m. Food, fun, and music!

Pulling Invasive Plants for Bats! 1pm to 3pm @ Munsee Woods Turn right onto drive and follow path down to work site. 5701 S. 475 E. Selma, IN 47383
Join the BSU Wildlife Society and the Wildlife Warriors Indiana Kids Club for our 3rd annual Pulling for Bats event. On Sunday, October 27th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, we will remove invasive honeysuckle and other plants to improve the habitat for bats and other wildlife. To start the program off, Dr. Tim Carter will teach us about bat conservation with his captive teaching bats, Chocolate and Petunia. Then, we will get started on clearing plants. This event will take place at the Red-tail Nature Conservancy property Munsee Woods, located near Prairie Creek Reservoir. The address is 5701 S. 475 E. Selma, IN 47383.
