If you want great dance moves but need a little guidance, let Cornerstone Center for the Arts' talented and experienced instructors teach you! In this two hour workshop you will learn the basic movements and steps of swing dancing. Your new moves can be transferred to a variety of different music types and you will be rocking the dance floor in no time! This workshop is available to those in the 9th grade through adult age; registration with a partner is preferred.

Explore the beauty of the neighborhood around Cornerstone Center for the Arts in this three hour photography workshop. Photo techniques and composition concepts will be discussed. There will also be a chance for peer critiques of work. The workshop is $15 and is open to those in the ninth grade to adults. Registration is available online or in our building. If you are interested in auditioning for musicals come and let our experienced instructors teach you how to act while singing. Each participant should come prepared with at least one age-specific, memorized song selection, along with a recorded accompaniment. The workshop cost is $10 and it is open to those in the ninth grade to adults. Registration is available online or in our building. This workshop will help you gain the ability to prepare monologues and excel at cold reading in auditions. The workshop is open to those in the ninth grade to adults. All participants should come prepared with at least one age-specific, memorized monologue. The cost of this workshop is $10 and is for those in 6th grade through adults. Create a beautiful summer yard by using Cornerstone's supply of crafting materials to make a unique stepping stone. These personalized stepping stones make great decorations for your porch or yard. There are many design options and this class is open to everyone, children under 12 must be registered with a parent though. Possibilities for design are endless! Cornerstone Center for the Arts and Muncie Civic Theatre are partnering to present Schoolhouse Rock LIVE, Jr.! in Cornerstone's Edmund Burke Ball Auditorium on July 23rd at 2:00pm. This upbeat and educational production is a perfect show for the family! Audience members of all ages are invited to sing and dance along with their favorite school subjects – Math, Science, English, and Social Studies!

Come experience these lively Latin dances! Get those hips swinging and feel the beat as we learn the basics. You will leave with an understanding of the steps and a short routine in each style. You won't be able to resist the great music and fun moves that easily transfer to any party. Couples and singles welcome. Cost of this workshop is $10 and is for those in the ninth grade and older. Learn the traditional craft of Egyptian coil bracelet making. Students will construct their own bracelets from wire and beads as well as learn how to choose colors, types of stones, and basic ancient Egyptian symbols and their meanings that adhere to the tradition. Learn the traditional practice of line dancing and let our instructors show you new moves that can be done at various social gatherings. Because no partner is required for this dance it is a great way to have fun with friends and to make new ones. The cost of this workshop is $10 and is for those in 9th grade through adults. Expose your child to life skills such as: listening to and following instructions, taking turns, sharing items, and learning how to work in a group. This workshop will be princess and prince theme for ages 3 to 6. Children will be able to try out different instruments, sing, dance, participate in stories, and meet kids their age!
