Carol is part of a five-generation lineage of pysanky makers, having learned from her aunt, who learned from her grandmother—who brought the tradition with her when she immigrated from Ukraine. In this hands-on workshop, Carol will demonstrate traditional techniques and guide participants step-by-step as they create their own pysanky egg. While often associated with Easter, pysanky carry deep cultural significance as gifts symbolizing friendship, love, and protection.
